WinRAR又出新版囉！這次一些對Vista作業系統的相容性做了一些修改，並修正其他Unicode、ISO 13346 (UDF) 文件格式…等的支援。

2008/7/11更新：軟體版本更新為 3.80 beta4，修正部份程式錯誤。

WinRAR 3.80 beta 4 更新項目：
• In some situations previous beta versions could fail to create RAR recovery volumes.
• In previous beta versions it was impossible to change a name of next volume in “Next volume” dialog. Volume name specified by user was ignored.

3.80 beta 3更新項目：

• RAR命令模式在更新壓縮檔時能顯示封裝資料的進度，此功能原本只能在圖形介面中顯示。
• Switch -ieml.[arcname] did not delete an archive after emailing it even if dot character was specified in the switch.

3.80 beta 2更新項目：

• 更新幾個 Windows Vista 相容性的修改。
• 增加對 ISO 13346 (UDF) 文件格式的支援，此格式被頻繁用於 DVD 光盤的 ISO 映象。
• 增加對 ISO 9660 的 Unicode 支援, 這樣 WinRAR 可以更好地處理非英語的檔案名稱。
